National Library’s summer workshop for kids

The National Library of the Philippines Children’s Section (NLP – CS) invites kids ages 6-12 years old to the 2nd Summer Workshop for Kids. It is scheduled on April 25-26, 2013 at the Nido Science Discovery Center, SM MOA. The workshop aims to promote reading and love for books to children through storytelling and puppetry.

Each participant shall be charged a registration fee of Two Thousand Pesos (Php 2,000.00) to defray the expenses for two lunches and materials needed. The fee is inclusive of gallery tour at NSDC and a Planetarium Show.

The National Library of the Philippines is located at T.M. Kalaw, Ermita, Manila. Library hours are 8 am – 8 pm, Monday to Friday; and 8 am – 5 pm, Saturday. All reading room services, however, are temporarily suspended until June 3, 2013 due to the ongoing retrofitting of the NLP Building.
