UP Film Institute presents April schedule

The University of the Philippines Film Institute released its screening schedule for the month of April at the UP Film Center. With the theme “In the Realm of the Indies,” some of the featured films include Mario O’ Hara’s Babae sa Breakwater, Festival Winners of Animahenasyon, cinema from the Bolivarian Repulic of Venezuela, and many more.

The University of the Philippines Film Institute, member of the CILECT/International Association of Film and Television Schools, is the only film school in the country that offers Bachelors and Masters degree in Film and Media Studies in Film. One of its main facilities is the UP Film Center which houses Cine Adarna (Main Theater), an 800-seater cinema located at Magsaysay Avenue and Osmena Avenue, UP Diliman; the Ishmael Bernal Gallery, an artist’s space reserved for multimedia exhibits and installaitions located at the back of the main theater; and the Videotheque, located at the 2nd Floor of the Ishmael Bernal Gallery.
