PLURAL, a new online prose journal, releases first issue


PLURAL launched last February its first collection of literary works in prose. The first issue is available in PDF, EPUB, and MOBI formats.

The editorial team of PLURAL is composed of graduate school students from De La Salle University-Manila’s MFA Creative Writing program. They are Jose Carlo C. Flordeliza, Erika M. Carreon, Neobie Gonzalez, Lystra Aranal, Erich Velasco, and July Amarillo. The first issue features prose works from Glenn Diaz, Wina Puangco, Christoffer Mitch C. Cerda, Joshua Lim So, Marguerite Alcazaren de Leon, Jenette Vizcocho, Chris Mariano, Francis Alcantara, Melissa R. Sipin, Stephanie Shi, and Noelle Leslie de la Cruz; with cover art and illustrations from Kevin Roque.

PLURAL is an online prose journal that caters to fiction, nonfiction, and criticism geared towards prose.

Through PLURAL, we aim to provide a venue for writers to showcase their prose.

We welcome writing that, whether it concerns itself with realism, genre fiction, or hybrid forms, exhibits a contemporary sensibility.

By this we mean stories that are unafraid of reworking familiar narratives and perspectives that are both grounded and progressive.

Push the boundaries of prose, or tease at its edges.
