Registration for the second De La Salle University-Student Media Congress, the biggest media congress in the metro, opened last May 26, 2014, and will close on June 23, 2014. Organized by the DLSU Student Media Office in partnership with the DLSU Culture & Arts Office and De La Salle-College of St. Benilde Student Publications Office, the two-day event is scheduled to run on July 25-26, 2014 in various venues at DLSU.
With the theme, “Empowering Media Catalysts,” the congress will discuss ways on how students, media practitioners, and media enthusiasts can use the different forms of media to empower their community. The congress will have a plenary session with the leading and most influential media practitioners in the country. The congress will also involve them in various competing and non-competing workshops held by only the best mentors in media.
