Send articles of not more than 1000 words, encoded in a Microsoft Word .doc file. Attach the softcopy of the article with photographs or any relevant softcopy collateral.
Releases and announcements will undergo copyediting for purposes of brevity and style.
Email with subject heading “KALATAS_PR_(EVENT TITLE)”.
UNSOLICITED REVIEWS
Readers may send reviews of books, theater, film, and other creative media (preferably by Filipino writers, artists, or productions), of not more than 1500 words, encoded in a Microsoft Word .doc file.
Attach the softcopy of the article with the cover or relevant photographs of the material reviewed.
Email with subject heading “KALATAS_REVIEW_(TITLE OF WORK)”.
We will only respond to submissions we find publishable.
However, understand that Kalatas is a volunteer entity, and will not be able to provide any monetary compensation for articles submitted. In spite of this, copyright, as provided by law, reverts back to authors or owners of visual materials published in this site.
